Dear Friends,
Last year, we launched our Rebuild My Church Capital Campaign to raise $75 million to further our mission—the same call St. Francis heard and heeded 800 years ago.
I’m delighted and humbled to report that we have hit our goal!
We want to educate and equip our students to go out in the world and be holy. Ultimately, that’s what the world needs: men and women who live courageously, who build a civilization of love.
We are forming builders for Christ—artists, nurses, engineers, writers, business leaders, counselors, teachers—who will rebuild the culture through personal and professional excellence. We want to transform every person with the truth of Jesus Christ. First, our students; and through them, the world.
These are big goals! But isn’t that what the Lord called Francis to? Isn’t that our call?
The Rebuild My Church Capital Campaign is the most ambitious campaign in Franciscan University’s history. Over the past year, I’ve been inspired by the overwhelming generosity of our alumni and friends, and I’ve been profoundly moved by the personal love they have for Franciscan University.
Because of their generosity, we can break ground on a new academic building and conference space this fall, the first new academic building in 20 years.
We can provide increased financial aid and scholarships to prospective students.
And we will be able to increase evangelization and outreach through initiatives that help people grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus.
We are so grateful for the support to help us move forward with great hope and great joy into Phase Two of our campaign and to continue to rebuild the Church—today and far into the future, please God!
Peace and blessings!
